  Horrible! You would think the local office would be more personable. I needed two transcripts printed out for school. Would takr literally 2 minutes and with 45 minutes before closing time the cocky security guard told me I would have to come back Monday. Unfortunately you can't get through to IRS customer service via phone (I waited almost an hour) and their online options for paperwork is currently down. I was told as long as I got to the IRS office before closing time I could be helped. Apparently you need to come hours in advance for a process that would take only a second.

  Horrible worst server ive ever had made an appointment and still had to wait an hour also the workers have nasty attitudes you also have to make an appointment before you show up so dont waste your gas and time

  Word of advice: Get there when they open at 8:30 a.m. Any later than that you risk waiting a very long time in a small room as you must take a number when you arrive. I waited an hour and a half for a something that took 5 minutes for them to help me with. Staff was friendly and the security officer working at the time offered helpful advice depending on what you were there for. Additional tip: They stop allowing people to take numbers after 10:30 a.m. since they prepare for their lunch break at 11:30 a.m. and don't open back up until 12:30 p.m. They see everybody waiting that have numbers before their lunch period begins though.
