- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My wife and I did our taxes in order to avoid messing up after buying a house in 2016. The charges are way out of line for the 45 minutes of service. Ness is not a place I would recommend. After confronting about it, received a call using tax lingo to try and say that it was long form. It was a basic tax return that could've been filed online for free. Save your dollars ($250 to be exact). Do them yourself or go to Azarra. Unreal.By Levi, September 26, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★messed up my own 2013 tax filing by missing some stock sale I guess. Got a letter from the IRS saying i owe them this huge amount didn't think i owe. I don't know what to do with. Called Ness office, made appointment, they did an amendment for me, submitted it, took care of the nasty IRS letter, didn't owe them a dime. My wife stopped in to ask some questions only, that's it, nothing more, Ultimately did her taxes at the library. These idiots continue to send us bills simply for asking questions. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I was charged $330 at Ness Tax on west 57th street for a return that took 60 minutes to complete - I normally do my own taxes but since we had a house purchase and sale last year, I didn't want to mess it up this year. The guy who I met with was condescending and unprofessional. After the appointment, I had a question and called the office twice leaving messages and emailed twice and received NO reply.
